Hey you guys! How's your summer going so far? Great? So is mine! Today I'm going to tell you a story about my six flags adventure. It all started Thursday night. As far as I knew I was not going to six flags for some specific reasons..... and the buzz about it in school was becoming louder and louder. It was the school field trip. So then my parents called me in their room and told me I was going!!!!

AAAHHHHH!!!!!! So apparently it was all based on my behavior and if it improved! And, my dad was going to be my chaperone for me and my friend Morgan! Awesome! So Friday finally came and the only words you could hear were," Six flags, six flags, six flags!" I started to have this really weird feeling in my stomach. I knew I was nervous but I just pushed it aside. We all went to our classrooms and after a while we went to load up the bus. While riding to Six Flags we broke out at random times singing songs like " Let it Go". ( Yes, I still sing it even after that blog post )
Then we would do chants for our teachers like," Go Mrs. Prillhart!" Then all of a sudden everybody started screaming because they saw from afar the one and only GOLIATH!!!
I joined in but that feeling started to come back again. You see I wasn't technically the ride type. I had a fear of drops which almost every ride had so THEREFORE I was not a ride person. The only ride I had ever been on was the mine train which now I know is classified as a "kiddy" ride. But, almost all of my friends were pressuring me ( in a nice way) to get on a ride. Specifically Goliath. I was like," Oh uh-uh. Nice try but maybe next time." ( Which meant THERE IS NO WAY I'M GETTING ON GOLIATH......EVER!)

| I WAS BASICALLY LIKE THIS THE WHOLE ENTIRE TIME! |
So, we finally pulled in six flags. My stomach started to tighten. Everybody got their tickets and we separated. Another problem was that Morgan, my friend, was DEFINITELY a ride girl. So the first
ride we came across was Dare Devil Dive, the one ride I said I'd never get on because it has a STRAIGHT drop. What does Morgan do? " Let's get on!" And what do I do?
 |
| That would be me staring at dare devil... |
THERE WAS ABSOLUTELY NO WAY I WAS GETTING ON THAT ROLLERCOASTER!!! But my Dad started to encourage me and say things like," It's Ok mercy." or " You have to face your fear." The more I walked toward the ride the more scared I got. Mind you there was no line or any people.... WHERE ARE THINGS WHEN YOU NEED EM'? I started to say I was going to cry... which eventually I did. We got on the cart and the ride started. We went up, I was crying full blast with my hand over my eyes. My dad was like," Look at me you can do this!" Then...... we went down. I HATE THAT FEELING! But the ride was so fun! And at the end I was smiling. Of course you know there was that nice I told ya so moment. So we got on a lot if rides. Batman backwards is awesome! Superman is awesome! Everything is awesome! But then we approached Goliath. I had conquered my fear sorta but I was not getting on Goliath. People started saying things like," You had the guts to get on daredevil and you won't get on Goliath!!??" " There's no way I'd get on dare devil and I've gotten on Goliath many times!" In my head I was thinking,"
DAREDEVIL IS SO DIFFERENT FROM GOLIATH!!
1. Daredevil has 2 drops / Goliath has 1000!!! ( Well that's exaggerated i think it's 7)
2. Daredevil is short ( in length if time ) / Goliath is long... IN BOTH WAYS!
3. Daredevil is daredevil / Goliath is GOLIATH!!!!!!!
And I promise you there's more!

- Have u lost it?!
Anyway overall I had a great time. You guys, conquer your fear. You never know if you'll like something if you don't try it. So try it. And if you're scared of rides take it from me.. they're fun!
Remember, Life is a Treasure with lengths of love nobody can measure!
P.S, Here's a tip, if you bend over in the ride or like bend down you can't feel the drop after effects!
Promise!
