Where did Thanksgiving go?

Anybody else think that that's a chicken up there.........smiling.

Today I want to know where Thanksgiving went. I mean it's like its not even a national holiday anymore! They don't even have any commercials related to Thanksgiving. All of them are about Christmas! ( Don't get me wrong though I love Christmas.) The thing is its not like its like this every year. Last year, Christmas actually waited it's turn on T.V. and in stores instead of butting in line and saying," I'm more important! I deserve to come first!" I mean if everybody just wants to forget about Thanksgiving, how about they just contact the president to get him to switch the date to Christmas day! I bet you those turkeys are having a good time man! They're probably saying," Everybody forgot about us! We're finally free. Gobble."

Or.....not.

I guess that turkey has a good point. Anyway if you didn't forget about Thanksgiving comment down below. I think I might start giving shout outs just for the fun of it. If I do start doing that I'll probably put your name at the top.

Belated Birthday Present

Today I am going to tell you about my fun BELATED BIRTHDAY EXPERIENCE! If you haven't guessed it yet by the picture, I went ice skating! It was really fun! So, let's get started. First of all when I walked in that rink I didn't even know if I would survive long enough to put those shoes on! It had to be BELOW 0 in that room. 5 minutes later my fingers were frozen and my teeth were chattering. It took me at least 7 minutes to even tie my shoestrings and at least 5 minutes to learn how to walk without busting my butt! Then finally I stepped out onto the rink. I thought I would fall 1,000,000 times and not even know how to skate, but, it was the total opposite! Turns out if you've been skating, ice skating shouldn't be to hard. I did eventually fall on my hands. My hands were freezing! I felt like I was Elsa and my powers were trapped inside of my hands! The overall experience was really fun though. BUT THATS NOT IT!
AND.....

I also went to a place called All Fired Up! It was pretty cool. You basically get to choose something{ take the cupcake for example but imagine it white and powdery} and paint it however you like. Then they will put it in their fire oven to FIRE IT UP! I painted a butterfly jewelry box. I personally think that I messed it up but my mom said," Mercy, you're supposed to be having fun." So, I put my thoughts in the back of my brain and kept painting. It didn't turn out to bad. Meanwhile my mom was painting this SUPERCUTE purse jewelry box. I was done so I just watched her. And when she was done she put my name on the bottom! I was so excited! I thanked and hugged her for giving me that cute purse. I actually don't have it yet. But they hold it for 90 days. So I better hurry before its to late! I truly recommend All Fired Up!  If anyone from All Fired Up is reading this please request a discount to your manager. Just kidding! But seriously.

An ordinaweird day

Hello! Just in case you're wondering, I've made up a new word in my post title. I call it.....ORDINAWEIRD. If you haven't guessed it means ordinary and weird jumbled up. Enough with that, let me tell you about my ORDINAWEIRD day. So the day at school started off pretty normal . We did our Bible Study and prepared for the quiz. Then we went into ELA. This is when it started to get weird. We were working on prepositional phrases and we had to find 14. Sadly I could only find 13. I searched over the paragraph again only to find nothing but what I just had. It took me 10 minutes to find that thing! For some reason, whenever we have to do things like that in language. I find 1 less than the amount I need. Do you think that paper has a brain because it seems like   the paper knows you're looking at the paper and then it says," Hey, lets hide the last one''. Speaking of language that was a run-on sentence. Anyway, then we went into math. I don't know about you but comment down below if you do not like TRICKY word problems! So as you guessed we had about 15 tricky word problems in our book. Ones like," 3 people were almost at the peak at Mount Everest. They were five steps away from it. It just so happened that the weather  got a little harsh. For every two steps forward the gusting wind sent them one step backwards. How many steps did it take them to get to the top?" AAAAAAHHHHHHHH! I spent like 15 minutes stepping forwards and backwards like a million times { I wanted to put a million steps on the paper}! If you'd like to try the problem, knock yourself out! You can put the answers in the comments down below. Then, we went outside. Me and my friend had the SAME EXACT KITE. Except hers could actually fly! That was not fair! No matter how many times I changed how I was running, held the string longer or shorter, or changed the poles on the kite, it still wanted to act like it had no sense! Bummer! Then we did our history which was pretty normal. Except for the part when I learned what taxes are actually for. So there you have it! There was my ORDINAWEIRD day! And remember, Life is a treasure with lengths of love nobody can measure!

Long time no see

It has been such a long  time since I've written on my blog. In fact so long a whole entire birthday has went by. But more about that later. I have a lot of catching up to do and a lot has happened. The story is about to begin. I am in the sixth grade. Middle school yeah!  It just so happened I skipped a grade. I am also 11! A whole birthday! I know I'm ashamed :-(  But I'll tell you about it! My birthday was awesome and it was on Friday finally. But sadly the next time it'll be on Friday is when I'm 18. The work is hard ( mainly math) but i will work on it. Well that's what you missed everything else was normal. But I will be working on my blog more often:-)  And remember, life is a treasure with lengths of love nobody can measure!
